Simon Staffans hails from Finland and has over 20 years of hands-on experience in media, from radio to television, from print to online. Since 2005 he’s been developing cross- and transmedia formats for MediaCity Finland. He’s been Emmy-nominated, AFDESI Award-nominated, won an International E-Learning Award and been a MIPFormats Pitch Competition finalist. He is a very strong believer in multiplatform storytelling and in the need to find sustainable business models for content creation and distribution. He’s a published writer and has held talks at events like MIPTV, MIPCOM, London Transmedia Fest, EuroITV, Cross Video Days and Future Media 2.0.
