After graduating from the Vienna Business School (Austria) Bernhard Hafenscher worked for T-Systems (Deutsche Telekom) and Oracle Corporation in various marketing, business development and sales functions related to digital media. He then became VP of Sales and Marketing at medianet, a subsidiary to one of Austria’s largest publishing groups. The company operated a digital content syndication bureau selling to OTT and mobile service operators in the German Speaking Territories.
In 2000 Bernhard formed the consultancy hmc focussing on bridging the gap between technology, content and commerce. hmc developed projects for leading technology vendors like Sun Microsystems, Panasonic, Alcatel, Cisco, HP or Siemens as well as platform owners like Vodafone, the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) and Telekom Austria.
Bernhard Hafenscher joined Red Bull Media House in 2008. By now he runs an international team with global responsibility for program sales, commercial partnerships and affiliate sales.
